Licensure Requirements
Elementary Education (K-6) candidates are required to pass the North Carolina Foundations of Reading and General Curriculum Multi-Subject with Math subtest to be recommended for licensure. Information about these tests can be found here: http://www.nc.nesinc.com/. Registration is currently open for these tests. Deadlines for taking these are below.

Graduate Certificate Students
All 3 parts of the licensure exam must be taken by the beginning of the student teaching semester.
